SPRING CLEANING (3 areas that are easy to miss)

My favourite season is upon us, I have been loving taking early evening walks and spotting all the blooming trees. This season is synonymous with spring cleaning where we get to give our homes a nice refresh and create better storage systems, today’s post is sharing 3 areas that are easy to miss when spring cleaning.

  1. Junk drawers - The junk drawer is often overlooked during spring cleaning but it deserves attention too. It's easy for random items to accumulate in the junk drawer over time making it messy and disorganised. Go through the drawer and get rid of anything broken, expired or that you do not use. A tidy junk drawer will make finding what you need much easier.

2. Under sink storage -The space under the sink is often wasted but with some creativity it can become useful under sink storage whether in the kitchen or bathroom. Baskets and storage boxes are great investments as they allow you to keep items off the countertops and help you keep a clutter free space.

3. Under bed storage - If you are lucky enough to have space underneath your bed, under bed storage e.g. boxes or containers are really helpful when storing things like extra bedlinen, towels etc. You can find adjustable under bed storage boxes that slide out from under the bed and this will make your room more functional and organised.
